Lay Eucharistic Minister Training

Of interest to licensed Lay Eucharistic Ministers and those who would like to be: Two training sessions for Lay Eucharistic Minister will be held in February. The first training will be held at St. Thomas’ Church in Winn on Saturday, February 18, from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. The second will be held at St. Matthew’s in Hallowell on Saturday, February 25, from 10 am to 3 pm. Both will be led by the Rev. Carolyn Metzler, Vicar of St. Thomas’. This training will offer an introduction to the ministry of visiting a church’s isolated members and bringing the Eucharist. Different aspects of visiting, responding to difficult situations, and conducting the service will be addressed. Participants should bring $5.00 to cover lunch. For more information, contact the Rev.
